Tim started racing go-karts in the 1970's mostly on dirt tracks around the State of Kansas.  In 1977, Tim found that racing was expensive and he needed a job to continue to race karts.  Soon the job became more important and so did girls, Tim quit racing in 1978.

Forward a few decades with Tim moving to Colorado and finding a good paying job.  Tim again found racing, kart racing was going strong in the Denver Metro area.  So in 1996 Tim bought a race kart and went racing, by 1998 Tim was the proud owner on two karts, one IKF and the other a alcohol 25 horsepower Blue Wazoom.

In 1999 Tim was at the top of his class in the state, that year Tim won 9 of 14 races he entered.  In the remaining 5 races Tim placed 2nd and he still holds two track records.

In 2000, Tim was hoping to repeat as a track champion but some unforeseen circumstances stop that dream about half way through the year. In that same year Tim started to go back to his roots, racing karts in the dirt.

In 2001, Tim went to full time dirt kart racing. In 11 races including a Mid Season Championship race and a open wheel challenge race Tim won 9 of those races.  The remaining 2 Tim placed second, to no one amazement Tim won the Dirt Championship that year.

With kart racing in the state of Colorado slowing fading away, Tim was looking for a new challenge............he discovered The Legends Cars.

Tim raced karts sparingly during the 2002 season, at the end of 2002 Tim purchased a Legends Car.

During the 2003 season, Tim was learning a whole new way of racing.  the car, his driving skill and circle tracks were all new to Tim.

During the 03 season Tim and the newly named Fuzz Motorsports Team entered about 9 races.  the races entered at Colorado National Speedway, Tim did not make any of the A-mains.  I 25 speedway was a little nicer to The Fuzz Motorsports Team, Tim and the car made all the A-mains with the highest finish of 18th.

The 2004 season showed promise with the addition of Ty Countryman as Crew Chief. Tim and Ty had been friends for 10 years.  The addition was evident right away, Tim made at least 75% of the A-mains entered with finishes in the top half of the twenties.  The number of cars entered at CNS was at least 32 to 34, the speedway only takes the top 28 to the A-main.  Tim finished in the 312th position in the nation for his division.

The 2005 season was started on a high note, Tim had two top ten finishes during the season.  The season was shorten by weather, and some motor problems.  During the season, Ty made so very good calls.  His adjustments showed as the track got cooler.  Tim made of the A-mains entered, while  qualifing in the top 15.  Tim finsihed in 21 st place in the Local Legends series and finished 239th in the nation in his division.

The 2006 season was as successful as the previous years. Tim and the team started off the year with a few problems but as June come about the Team got better.  Tim's qualifing got much better with a best time of 19.418 at Colorado National Speedway.  Tim placed as high as 4th place overall and qualified in the top ten a majority of the time.  Tim's highest qualifing position was 7th out of 28 cars.

In 2006 the Rocky Mountain Legends Racing Association was formed with 52 cars registered, Tim place 23rd overall.  Tim finished 17th out 47 cars at Colorado National Speedway and 18th out of 30 cars at I25 Speedway in Pueblo, Colorado.

On the national level in 2006 Tim placed 145th out of 463 racers in his division.  Tim had two division wins in 2006 and all of his finsihes were in the top fifteen.
